Students who took the Beginners (Knight Level) chess class last summer, last spring, or last fall, please enroll in this class.
Course Description: This class is perfect for students who already know how the chess pieces move and are interested in continuing to improve their chess game! This is an excellent foundational course that will help students develop solid chess fundamentals. Students will dive deeper into how to effectively utilize the fundamental checkmates and the fundamental principles of opening, middle game, and endgame play. Again, please note, new students who wish to join this class must already know the rules to chess. Although we may do a quick review of the rules, if necessary, it will not be the main focus of this class.
